Admissions

STEP 1- OPEN HOUSE
General information is given at an open house. All questions are answered.  The Open House generally lasts for 1 hour. All students are required to have 20 high school credits to enter, including three credits each in Math and Science.

 

STEP 2- INTERVIEW
You will receive an interview appointment at the Open House. At the interview you will write a diagnostice essay and complete a diagonstic math problem and be interviewed by Lucy. You will receive a packet of forms to take home to be completed. See your High School guidance counselor to obtain the follow documents to bring to the interview:

  1. High school transcript (student Permanent record from ATS)
  2. Recent report card
  3. Attendance report (RISA)
  4. Student Evaluation Report (RESI)
  5. Disciplinary History (HDSP)
  6. Immunization Records
  7. IEP (if applicable)

STEP – 3 ACCEPTANCE OR REFERRAL
Once a student is accepted, he/she attends orientation sessions and is assigned to an advisor. If a student is not accepted, he/she will be counseled and referred to another alternative school or GED Program.
